자료는 Aralite라는 소방관의 옷에 쓰이는 시편을 가지고 테스트한 결과를 가지고 자료를 만들었습니다.

즉, Thermal Conductivity Tester의 측정에 기본원리를 나타낸 그림입니다.

Thermal Conductivity 측정을 위한 각각의 소재들을 아래와같이 준비합니다.

그리고 Hot Plate와 Cool Plate를 15℃ 온도 차이를 두고 각각의 온도를 높여 측정합니다.

1.                 System Preparation

Chiller Temperature setting = 20°C

Compressed air = 2.5 Bar

Set Upper Clamp Temperature = 35°C

Set Guard Temperature = 25°C

Set Lower Clamp Temperature = 95°C (Typical)

Sample size = Diameter 50mm, Thickness 0.1 to 20mm

2.                 System Calibration

a.     Six standard samples are Vespel ( x1 ), Pyrex ( x2 ),  Pyroceram ( x3 ).

b.     Place one standard into the test chamber.

c.     Switch on the air clamps.

d.     Wait for 45 minutes for stability of readings.

e.     Record down the readings of Tu, Tg, Tl, Th, Q from the system display.

f.       Unlock clamps and remove standard.

g.     Repeat steps b to f for next standard till completion of all six.

3.                 Sample Testing

a.     Place sample into test chambe

b.     Switch on the air clamps.

c.     Wait for 45 minutes for stability of readings.

d.     Record down the readings of Tu, Tg, Tl, Th, Q from the system display.

e.     Repeat steps for next sample.

4.                 Data Analysis

a.     Input both standards data and samples data into the computer to calculate the Thermal Resistance of the samples.

   b.     The printer will print out test result in hard copy.
